Project New Phase Booster Station required pulling out an old deep-well to install a new well. This government-commissioned job required 100 gpm lab water flow (at 100 psi). We installed two pressure tanks and a booster pump on a variable-speed drive. The piping installation ran 30 feet over head: 2″ galvanized pipe for 250 feet. Existing offices could not handle 100 psi, so we installed a pressure-reducing valve (prv) to supply 65 psi water to these buildings. Finally, we set a pump at a depth of 150 feet.
